My personal favorite is the silky smooth 8'6" 4 wt. This exceptional all graphite 4 wt can lay a size 20 PMD so softly on the water that you'll swear it fell naturally from the cloud of spinners that surround you as you fish. I took the 9' GVX 5wt 4pc out for a spring creek outing and was really impressed by how responsive the rod is. Soft tip with plenty of power on the bottom end. Very happy with how it fought big fish. Total tippet saver but enough butt to put leather to the fish.
