11'6" - 6/7-weight
"My favorite choice for swinging classic steelhead patterns on the tight confines of the Trinity River in California is the 11'6" Winston BII-MX 6-weight. This rod, paired with a 420-grain Compact Scandinavian floating line is the perfect spey casting solution for this river. This rod fires long accurate casts with a small "D" loop and the lightness in hand (5 oz) makes fishing for the "fish of a thousand casts" possible with a minimum of physical effort. For steelhead from 4 to 14 lbs, the Winston BII-MX 6-weight 11' 6" is an awesome stick!"

"The BII-MX 12'3" 7/8-wt. is simply divine. Every one of us who cast it knew it in less than three casts and we actually nearly went to blows trying to get our hands on it for the rest of the day.
